Into my dreams

I wish I could take you into my dreams

Where we can float on the clouds

and jump from hill to hill,

Where we can dance in the rain

without a care in the world,

Where we can fly with the dolphins

and swim with the whales,

Where we can step onto wobbly meadows

of colorful wildflower blooms,

Where we can get lost in the wilderness

looking for unknown treasures,

Where we can live on an island in a house full of books

with no one around but songbirds on trees,

Where we can slide down the mountains and roll into the snow

and laugh at each other for looking so silly,

Where we are the protagonists in a thriller movie

saving the innocent and chasing the elusive villain.

I wish I could take you into my dreams

for the reality is too mainstream.
